Black Label Margaret River Chardonnay

Capel Vale Black Label Margaret River Chardonnay is produced only in select years. It is made with Gin Gin clone fruit grown in Margaret River's cool maritime climate.
The fruit is typically handpicked and whole bunch pressed. Only native yeasts are used for fermentation, which occurs in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels. The wine matures on lees for up to 10 months. Malolactic fermentation is avoided.
Straw green, Capel Vale Black Label Margaret River Chardonnay has stone fruit flavours with a nutty, lightly creamy finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
